Can I wash the bedding in the washer?

Yes. Wash Cold - Use cold water on a gentle cycle to maintain the fabric’s softness and prevent shrinkage.

Can I use regular detergents?

Mild Detergent - Choose a gentle, natural, skin-friendly detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.
Avoid Fabric Softeners - Tencel is naturally soft, no need for extras.

How do I dry the bedding?

Drying - Air dry flat or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid high heat to prevent damage. High heat can dull that sheen over time, so low and slow is the way to go.
Ironing - If needed, use a low setting while the fabric is still slightly damp, or use a steamer.

Can I use dryer balls?

Yes, you can use dryer balls with Tencel. Wool or silicone dryer balls are a safe, natural way to reduce drying time and static without damaging the fabric. Just make sure to use them on a low heat setting to protect Tencel’s fibres and keep that smooth, soft feel intact.

What makes your bedding sustainable?

Our bedding is made from TENCEL™ lyocell, a fibre derived from sustainably grown eucalyptus trees. TENCEL™ is produced in a closed-loop process that recycles water and reuses over 99% of the solvent, making it incredibly low-impact. From fibre to finish, everything we do is designed to be gentle on your skin and the planet.

How is TENCEL™ better for the environment than cotton?

TENCEL™ uses up to 95% less water than conventional cotton and grows without pesticides, herbicides, or irrigation. Unlike cotton, which can be resource intensive, eucalyptus trees used for TENCEL™ grow fast and need far less land. The closed-loop process also means minimal waste and emissions, it’s a win for your comfort and the earth.

Do you use any harmful chemicals or dyes?

Nope! Our bedding is dyed using non-toxic, OEKO-TEX® certified dyes, which means they’re free from harmful chemicals and safe for sensitive skin. We believe your bedding should be as clean and kind as the dreams you have in it.

Is your bedding biodegradable or recyclable?

Yes! TENCEL™ fibres are biodegradable and compostable under the right conditions. When it’s time to part ways with your bedding (hopefully after many years!), you can feel good knowing it will break down naturally and won’t add to landfill waste.

Where is your bedding made and how are workers treated?

Our bedding is ethically made in facilities in India that ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and responsible manufacturing practices. We work closely with partners who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and respect for every hand involved in the process.

Do you donate to charities?

We donate 3% of every sale to meaningful causes:

1% to Nature Conservancy of Canada

1% to Canadian Red Cross

1% to SickKids Foundation

Your purchase helps make a positive impact on nature, humanitarian aid, and children's health.
